Rental Manager Position

 The Santa Fe Woman’s Club is seeking a skilled rental manager to represent the Club and coordinate venue rentals. In this role, you’ll ensure operations adhere to guidance established by the Club. We’re looking for a rental manager with strong attention to detail who is comfortable committing to running our venues smoothly. The hours are flexible according to our busy rental schedule. Rental Manager Job Responsibilities: 

  • Report directly to the Santa Fe Woman's Club Board President
  •  Monitor and respond to phone calls
  • Schedule and conduct showings of the facility 
  • Coordinate signing of contracts and collect security deposits and rent payments
  • Complete regular bank deposits
  • Maintain all electronic and paper records, calendars and forms for the rental business
  • Provide a clean and welcoming environment for renters 
  • Be present to unlock, welcome guests, answer questions, and generally assist renters
  • Secure premises after events 
  • Set up tables and chairs along with audio-visual equipment according to contract specifications
  • Make monthly rental reports to the Board of Directors and attend Club Committee meetings as requested
  • Report and schedule building maintenance needs


Work Hours and Benefits: The Rental Manager will live on-site in the one-bedroom apartment provided by the Santa Fe Woman's Club. The schedule is flexible according to specific rental contracts. 


The Rental Manager’s Position includes:

  • Annual Gross Salary of $36,400.00
  • Accrued sick leave days based on New Mexico Healthy Workplaces Act
  • Paid Vacation Days
  • On-site newly refurbished one-bedroom 850 square-foot apartment that includes all utilities, Wi-Fi, washer and dryer, private courtyard and parking (Maximum occupancy - two)


Rental Manager Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Strong customer service and administrative skills
  • High regard maintaining cleanliness in all surroundings
  • Ability to communicate effectively with renters and Club members
  • Strong negotiating and interpersonal skills, including handling conflict resolution
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Computer skills including proficiency with Google Docs
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as required
  • Education and Requirements:  High school diploma, GED, or equivalent/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Management experience is a plus
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
